Beyond the Tools, Behind the Decisions
Not everyone knows this side of my life.
Beyond my passion for handmade jewellery, I am also actively involved in the daily operations of Mass Motorsports, our automotive workshop.
My responsibilities involve more than managing the business. I work closely with customers, listening to their concerns, explaining vehicle problems identified by our mechanics, discussing possible repair solutions, preparing quotations, and helping customers understand the work their vehicles require.
I may not be the mechanic holding the tools, but I have learned how important it is to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and customer understanding.
Every vehicle comes with a different problem, and every customer comes with different expectations. Sometimes the solutions are straightforward. Other times, they require further investigation, patience, teamwork, and difficult decisions.
Working in an industry traditionally dominated by men has challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, develop my knowledge, and build confidence through real experiences.
There are days filled with unexpected challenges, complicated repairs, difficult conversations, and decisions that carry responsibilities.
But these experiences have taught me something valuable.
Business is not simply about selling products or providing services. It is about earning trust, taking responsibility, communicating honestly, and finding solutions together.
From the delicate details of handmade jewellery to the technical world of automotive repairs, I have discovered that both require patience, dedication, attention to detail, and a willingness to keep learning.
My journey is not about mastering every profession. It is about embracing the different responsibilities life brings and growing through them.
I am still learning, still facing challenges, and still discovering what I am capable of.
Because sometimes, the greatest lessons are not learned in classrooms, but through the responsibilities we carry in the real world.
Another chapter of my journey, another experience shaping the woman I am becoming.
